Storm’s main motivation for getting her GED® was that she wanted to improve her life for herself but for others involved in it as well.
“Earning my credentials was so important to me because I saw everything I wanted right in front of me and knew I had to go for it.”
Storm really enjoyed the GEDWorks™ program and the help her advisor provided.
“What I liked most about the program was how convenient and easy the whole process was, it worked with my work schedule and home life. My advisor also helped me achieve my goals, by responding back in a timely fashion after each test.”
Besides her advisor, Storm had her family and friends rooting for her as well.
“They encouraged me through each obstacle I faced. When I didn’t think I could do it they reminded me I could achieve anything I put my mind to.”
Now that she earned her credential, Storm would recommend the program to all of her co-workers because of its ease and convenience.
“I could take my pre-tests when it was convenient for me based on my work schedule and personal life. After each test it was simply emailing my advisor so I could move on to the next course.”
Storm has big plans now that she has herGED®. She wants to become a home health aid while attending college for her associate degree in nursing. Eventually she wants to transfer to Clemson University to and get her bachelor’s degree.
“My dreams and goals are to finish all the way through my bachelor’s degree and become an ob/gyn nurse in hospitals.”
