Elizabeth always felt bad for not completing high school but that’s what motivated her to get her GED® credential.
“Deciding to get my GED® was a personal thing for me. I felt like I let my mom and family down so I decided to get it to show myself that I can do more with my life and not just be sad that I didn’t finish.”
Elizabeth also had people in her life supporting her along the way.
“My boyfriend really helped by giving me the encouragement I needed to keep going when things got tough. My mom also helped lead me in the right direction and urged me to keep going and not to give up.”
Elizabeth believes she owes a lot of her success to the GEDWorks™ program.
“What I liked about GEDWorks™ was that everything was really fast and simple. I got my results the same day and had my own GED® advisor, Bailey, to help me along the way.”
Elizabeth loved her student advisor Bailey and all the guidance she provided.
“She was always there when I needed her to answer any questions or concerns I had. She was very quick and I really felt like she cared about me, which helped me stay focused and finish.”
Now that Elizabeth has earned her diploma she wants to begin taking steps to starting a career and reaching her goal of being successful in life.
