Brittany moved from Arizona to North Dakota when she was in high school, disrupting her studies. She struggled to find support within the school and eventually dropped out.

“I decided to take my GED® because I wanted more for myself. Getting an education was very important to me because I don’t want to have to work a minimum wage job my whole life. And in order to get better job opportunities, you need to finish high school. More importantly, I finished for myself.”

When Brittany found out about the GEDWorks™ program she signed up, loved it, and would now recommend it to her coworkers.

“The GEDWorks™ program really helped focus on areas you needed to work on and I loved that about the program. Focusing on areas I struggled with helped me overcome challenges.

Additionally, Brittany had a strong support system not only from her student advisor but from her managers and boyfriend.

“My managers allowed me to take days off to study or to take my test. My boyfriend helped me the most, he was the best support system.”

Now that Brittany has took the steps toward furthering her education she plans to attend cosmetology school.
